Sports training for jihadists may include a variety of physical activities aimed at improving endurance, strength and combat skills. In some cases, these training sessions are carried out in gyms or sports centres which, in addition to their main function, can be used as meeting places and places for planning attacks. However, it is more common for them to be carried out in specific training camps. This article aims to analyse the physical and sporting activities that these subjects usually practice to optimise their physical condition with a view to committing attacks, a process that is closely related to the radicalisation phase. It also highlights that deradicalisation through sport is a strategy used in various rehabilitation and reintegration programmes. The methodology used is qualitative and is based on the contributions of renowned authors in the field. The conclusions of this work aspire to be a starting point for future research that delves deeper into this subject, which is still scarcely explored.
