OISCOT Objectives

OISCOT aims to promote the Defense and Security culture through study and research. To develop this objective, it has professionals of recognized prestige in the different areas that define the spectrum of its activity, with the support of whom it develops seminars, courses, interviews, workshops or other events, and prepares studies and reports focused on the prevention, control and mitigation of risks associated with the threat of terrorism and organized crime.

In addition to the above, we seek the following objectives:

  • That of being a reference in the fight against this threat, useful for both the public and private sectors.
  • Contribute to the delegitimization of narratives that try to give meaning and justification to the activity of terrorist groups.
  • Be proactive in monitoring the main indicators related to security at the national and international level.
  • Generate databases that allow the analysis and evaluation of global security. Promote research projects by providing an open space for research, creativity and innovation.
  • Disseminate studies and reports published by other national and international entities and organizations, as well as information on national and international current affairs regarding global security.
